A Labor of Love by Kent Foreman ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

A Labor of Love by Kent Foreman ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Kent Foreman is a Father to a remarkable Daughter, for whom his first book: ' A Labor of Love ' was written - even though she won’t read it, yet. When he is not writing, he is studying languages, practicing music, and training in assorted martial arts. This non-fiction book is a conceptual dictionary, discussing ideas in an easily understood manner. Written as a guidebook to assist his own daughter as she navigates the bumpy road of adulthood; the tone of the book speaks to anyone trying to find their way in this society. It has wonderful advice on the many different challenges our children face the current school system doesn’t prepare them for. It is packed full of positive reinforcement for every audience. Although aimed at young adults taking that final step into the future, I noticed it would also be a good resource for authors struggling with character development - myself included. The author has an intriguing viewpoint abo...

Strictly Professional Relationships ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Strictly Professional Relationships by RS Thomas ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Content warning novel: Contains scenes of sexual assault and one scene of graphic violence.  Contains language and situations inappropriate for those under 18 years of age. Content warning review: Contains mention of LBGTQ and sexual tendencies. *** This is RS Thomas’ first book. He describes himself as an author who tries to be different. He has succeeded in this book.  This is a pansexual/romance/erotica novel. Jake, a bisexual exotic dancer, is desperate to follow his acting dreams in the big city. Struggling to pay his rent, he is approached with an offer for a huge amount of money. All he would have to do is act in an unconventional adult film with some interesting stipulations. He meets a cast of vivid characters during the filming of the most eccentric movie he had ever been a part of. The movie runs the gamut of sexual appetites, everything from ménage à trois to BDSM and more. In multiple scenes,...

Skyview: Lord of the Wills by M. Sheehan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Skyview: Lord of the Wills by M. Sheehan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is Murray Sheehan’s first published work. His creativity and imagination really shine in this intense story. He has gathered a very intriguing group of characters, and placed them in an extremely unique story.  It is slightly reminiscent of the Shadowhunters and Lord of The Rings series. This novel really makes history come alive in your mind. I was never able to keep the dates straight in school. After reading his work, I am understanding much more because of his ability to paint such vivid imagery in the reader's imagination. This book is packed with lots of action and mystery to keep you turning the page. It is a very difficult story to put down. If you are interested in conspiracy theory and European history, then I definitely recommend this book. William Ward is the 21st century heir to a great fortune he can only receive by discovering the truth about history, and surviving the disinherited heirs trying to prevent hi...

Review of Palimpsest by Craig Herdern ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Craig Herdern is a British novelist. He is the author of the MDS book series. Featuring Palimpsest as his first novel. ª "Palimpsest", Book One of the MDS series , is an intriguing opening to the world of multiple dimensions. There are a lot of characters to straighten out at first, but the story grabs you with both hands and won’t let go. The characters really come to life. Detective Winters reminds me of Agatha Christie’s detective Hercule Poirot, he is very detail oriented and catches evidence that others may miss. We follow Lucinda (Lu), as she discovers the truths that have been hidden about her family and her past. While in university, Lu takes part in a drug trial that has semi-adverse effects. These side affects allow her to enter a Salvador Dali type dimension. Along the course of the story we meet a few historical villains, like Jack the Ripper. Craig Herdern has a unique take on each despised historical figure we meet. This story has elements of String Theor...
